Biography:

My name is Kim Parrish, and I am a 1988 graduate of Slocomb High School. I am married to John Parrish. He was a Rebel, but now he is a Redtop! I have two wonderful children and one new  amazing daughter-in-law! Sam is a 2019 graduate of Slocomb High and is now teaching 8th grade history here at Slocomb Middle School. Sam’s wife, Mary-Grace, is teaching Kindergarten at Slocomb Elementary School. Emma is 2021 graduate of SHS and is a current senior at The University of Alabama.

I live in Slocomb and attend First Baptist Church of Slocomb. I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, boating, and supporting the Redtops! I don't just come to Slocomb to work, this is my life. I love that I can get to know my  students and their parents both at school and in the community.  I love Slocomb. It is a very special place to my family. I am honored to be able to serve our students as media specialist.
