Mrs. Elizabeth Quattlebaum

Biography

Hello everyone! My name is Mrs. Quattlebaum, or Mrs. Q, for short. I teach 10th grade English Honors, 11th grade English, Choir and Drama at Slocomb High School. I love being a Redtop!

A little bit about me: 

I am originally from Jacksonville, Florida, but I moved here when my husband and I got married. He is the youth pastor at The First Baptist Church of Slocomb. 

Ever since I was a little girl, I always felt I had a calling for teaching. By age 10, I knew that's what I wanted to become when I grew up! I'm still working on the growing up part, though! ;)

I live in Slocomb with my husband and our dog, Hank. I love to bake, read, and travel to places I've never been before. 

My goal is to maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment for your students to gain confidence in their reading, writing, and speaking abilities. I want to inspire students to take responsibility for their education and become life-long learners. I'm looking forward to a successful year!
